Granite Garden

With the sensitivity of an old soul but caked in the grime of grunge, Granite Garden is a diamond in the rough. Led by Cameron Silliman and Seamus Good, with Jon Schneider, Peter Michaels Jr. and Renly Wilson in tow, these eccentric birds-of-a-feather refuse to be pigeonholed. Their sound harmonizes the garishness and theatricality of rock n’ roll with the sensitivity and tact of folk and jazz; each musician brings their own unique kick to GG’s palette. And the “kick” is physical–GG are naturals on-stage and not to be missed.

The journey began as a desperate attempt to stave off the mundane rituals of a long distance relationship. Cameron Silliman and Seamus Good would write songs together while living in separate countries.  Once finally reunited in New York City in 2021 they decided to start performing some of this material and quickly discovered the rich community of artists in the NYC music scene.  This would eventually lead to Jon Schneider and Peter Michaels Jr. joining the ranks and contributing their creativity and experimental approach to the sound of Granite Garden.  With the final additional vocal and theatrical talents of Renly Wilson added to the mix, the band has become an unstoppable force.  Together the five members have been working to pack their shows with as much energy and adventure as they can.

2024 is the year Granite Garden releases music into the world.  Their debut single, “Am I Just Bored,” will be out on all platforms on June 7th, followed by a second single, and finally, a full length album.
